SHIQUON & GLEN

It was February 19, 2023 and Shiquon believed that the two were going out to celebrate Valentine's Day due to the actual day being one of Shiquon's busiest days of the year for her business. Little did Shiquon know that the events that were about to transpire would forever change their lives. Their journey began with  brunch at Biscotti's, the very place where they had their first date. Shiquon even mentioned to Glen that this was were it all started as they waited for their food. Their path continued, leading them past The Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens—a place that also held significance as it was the date that both Shiquon and Glen knew they were meant to be as they both started singing along to a GAP band song.  As they reached the next stop, a meticulously arranged picnic awaited them.  Swept away by the thoughtfulness of Glen's plans, Shiquon still had no idea of what was about to happen. As they sat side by side, sketching the nature around them, a subtle commotion caught Shiquon's attention. Turning around, her eyes met the sight of a man with a camera held up covering his face, later revealed to be groomsmen, Jerome. Perplexed, Shiquon turned around to look at Glen and it was then that she realized that the man she loved had something great in store. Glen's sketchbook revealed a picture, a picture of a ring accompanied by the words: "Will you marry me?" She was shocked and a bit teary eyed and without hesitation she accepted Glen's proposal. The rest is history and just two days shy of their proposal anniversary, Glen and Shiquon will be saying I do!
